Early Sunday morning, a devastating fire completely destroyed the Homer Mill haunted house and restaurant. The fire started sometime before 4 a.m., said Homer Fire Department Chief Kurt Swope. Fire fighters saw flames shooting through the roof of the old building when they arrived at 109 N Byron St.
With much of the building already in flames shortly after 4 a.m., firefighters went into “defensive mode,” Swope said. They worked to protect surrounding houses and keep the fire from spreading.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Swope said.
Several neighboring fire departments assisted. Most crews left the scene around 9:30 a.m. Homer fire fighters were still on scene at noon.
The Homer Mill was situated in a Historical Grain mill in the town of Homer, Michigan!

Yep. I read it from Haunt World and other forums as well. That's very sad. :-( Hope they're doing fine.
